Obituary

Wayland: Thomas A. “Tommy” Germano, 53, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington after being stricken with cardiac arrest on Tuesday, February 18, 2015.
He was born in Natick on July 27, 1961 the son of the late Alphonse A. Germano and Beverly J. (Barr) Germano.
He is survived by his devoted sister and best friend Irene B. Germano of Woburn formerly of Wayland. Nephew of Marilyn Kindamo of Milo, Maine. Also survived by several cousins and many friends.
Tommy resided in Wayland for over 40 years before moving to Woburn in 2003. He was a graduate of Wayland High School with the Class of 1980.
For over 20 years he was associated with R. A. Allen Bike Rack Manufacturing of Lincoln and for several years he has been a landscaper with Rick’s Landscaping of Winchester.
Tommy enjoyed being outdoors and also spent time fishing as a hobby. He loved animals and spending time with his family. He was a kind and generous person and always had a smile and kind for word for those he met along his life’s journey.
Visitations will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte 30), Wayland.
Private family graveside services will be held at the Germano family lot in North Cemetery in Wayland with the Rev. Norman J. Townsend officiating.
In lieu of flowers, his family suggests memorial gifts in Tommy’s memory may be sent to the Buddy Dog Humane Society, 151 Boston Post Road, Sudbury, MA 01776 or to The Salvation Army, PO Box 390647, Cambridge, MA 02139 to support the UMOJA.
