John Philip Pelland, age 71, of Somerset, passed away Feb. 20, 2015 at home with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Sandra (Gondela) Pelland and the son of the late Joseph & Evelyn Pelland. Prior to retiring, John worked for ABF Freight Co. as a Truck Driver. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, a US Navy Veteran, and had a business at the Raynham Flea Market fixing watches, loved all music and was an avid collector of LP records.
In addition to his wife, John is survived by his 2 Daughters: Tracy Lomba (Husband Leon) of Fall River and Trisha Pelland of Smithfield, RI; his grandchildren: Leon Jr., Camron, & Devin; siblings: Thomas Pelland and Claudette both of Fall River, and Barbara Alix of Kentucky; Mandy's beloved pooh; and his grand dogs: “Asia”, “Paris” and ‘Lexie”; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Norman Pelland and Susan Hilton.
His private funeral arrangements were under the direction of the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 NORTH MAIN STREET, FALL RIVER, MA.
