EVANS, Ga. - Mr. Robert Abraham Greenberg, 95, beloved husband of Adele Boroson-Greenberg, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 17, 2015.
Burial will be at the National Memorial Park in Falls Church, Virginia at a later date.
Mr. Greenberg was born in Brooklyn, New York, but lived in the Washington, D.C. area for most of his life. He had graduated from the Pennsylvania State College of Ophthalmology in 1942. He enlisted in the Army Air Corp in 1943 and served until 1946, achieving the rank of Captain. He practiced Optometry at various locations throughout his career, retiring from private practice in 1982. He was a loving father and caring husband.
In addition to his wife Adele, he is survived by his daughter, Leslie Gibb (Jason Street) and a son, Jeffrey Greenberg, his grandchild, Damien Gibb (Alicia), and a great-grandchild, Scarlet Gibb. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marilyn, whom he was married to for 45 years.
