Robert M. Femino age 68 of Canton passed away at the Norwood Hospital on February 18th. Born and raised in Boston, Bob attended Boston Public School and graduated from Boston Technical High School. He went on to earn his BA in Engineering from Wentworth Technical Institute. Bob enlisted in the Navy during the Vietnam Era. He earned the Vietnamese Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal (with bronze star), and National Defense Service Medal. Thirty years ago and after his deployment, Robert built the home in which he and his family lived for many years. He worked as an Engineering Contractor before retiring several years ago. Mr. Femino was on the Board of Directors for Volunteers of America, member of the Westwood Masonic Lodge for many years. An avid golfer Bob was a long time member of the Walpole Country Club and the Back Spinners Golf Association. He was a fan of all Boston sports team and had Bruins season tickets for many years. Bob was also willing to lend a help to a friend or neighbor. Beloved husband of Janice (Sabourin). Loving father of Robert M. Jr. of Roslindale and Adam G. of Somerville. Devote brother of Marie Esposito of Roslindale & Jeannie Hollstein of Raynham. Also survived by his nephews: Bryan, Ryan, Matthew, Bobby, Gregory. Sean, Joseph, Kevin and his niece Jessica.
