Marvin Ray Whitlock, 85 passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Baptist Hospital East.
Ray was a retired mechanic and worked for Greyhound and was an Air Force veteran during the Korean War and a member of the American Legion Highland Post #201.
Ray is preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Emily Whitlock.
Ray is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Norma Jean (France) Whitlock; children, Marvin "Noon" Whitlock, David Brian Whitlock, Douglas "Greg" Whitlock (Bennie Jane) and Laura Leigh Yeager (Mark); six grandchildren.
His funeral will be Friday 11:00 am at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial at Bethany Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday.
