Jeannine E. Johnson, 67, of Derry, NH, died Sunday, January 2, 2005 in the Hanover Hill Healthcare Center in Manchester, NH. Mrs. Johnson was born in Friendship, ME on September 29, 1937, a daughter of the late Vernon and Marjorie (Simmons) Cushman. She was a resident of Derry since 1950, formerly living in Friendship, ME. She was employed for the IRS in Andover, MA, retiring after 25 years. She served as supervisor of the checklist in Derry for 15 years. She attended the Calvary Bible Church in Derry. She was a member of the Senior Friends at Parkland Medical Center in Derry where she enjoyed attending their functions. She also enjoyed traveling.
She is survived by her husband, Edward D. Johnson of Derry, three daughters, Deborah Comte of Dallas, TX, Kelly McNally of Londonderry, NH, Traci Rusaw of Derry, one grandchild, Michael Cotter of Amity, AR, two great-grandchildren, Jaydin Cotter, Jordan Cotter of Amity, AR, and her mother, Marjorie Cushman of Nashua, NH. She was predeceased by her first husband Arlington Rusaw who died in 1993.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 6th at 10:00am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. The burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8pm in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Bible Church Missions, 145 Hampstead Rd., Derry, NH 03038.
