Rudolf J. Tomkiewicz 93, died February 15, 2015. He was the husband of the late Josephine Tomkiewicz. Rudolf worked for Narragansett Brewery for twenty seven years before retiring in 1984. He was a WWII Army Veteran. He was a member of the Polaski Hall Society in Central Falls, a life member of the American Legion Post 79 and the VFW Post 1271.
Rudolf was a great father, grandfather, and friend, he is survived by two sons, Glen Tomkiewicz (Jill) of CA and Roy Tomkiewicz (Patricia) of Cumberland, three grandchildren, Stacey Tomkiewicz, Andrew Tomkiewicz (Diane), and Ashley Alves (Daniel). He was also the grandfather of the late Stevey Tomkiewicz.
His funeral will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. with a service in the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Thursday 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to RI Veteran's Home, 480 Metacom Ave. Bristol, RI 02809 in his memory would be appreciated.
