Obituary

WORCESTER___Christine D. (Kimbar) Kudron, 69, of Autumn Village Nursing Home, 25 Oriol Dr., died Thursday Dec. 30 in the nursing home.

She leaves her husband of many years, Raymon P. Kudron; three daughters, Donna M. Joppas of Worcester; Lisa A. Kierstead of Clinton and Janine V. Penny of Worcester; a brother, Henry J. Kimbar of Worcester; four sisters, Jane M. Kimbar and Sophie M. Kimbar both of Worcester; Mary T. Conway of North Weymouth and Sr. M. Audrey Kimbar, CSFN of Philadelphia; three grandchildren, Tara, Amanda and David and two great-grandchildren, Allyson and Jackson and nephews and nieces. She was predececeased by a sister, Bertha Kimbar and seven brothers, Thomas, Chester, Joseph, Stanley, Charles, Edward and Jan Kimbar. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Alexander and Josephine I. (Sokolowski) Kimbar and lived here all her life.

Mrs. Kudron was a teacher for the City of Worcester and taught several years at Rice Square School and Dartmouth Street School and retired many years ago. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from Worcester State Teacher’s College. Christine was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.

The funeral will be held on Monday January 3 from HENRY - DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10 : 30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
Calling hours in the funeral home are Sunday Jan. 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
