LEWIS, Joyce Darlene (Geary), 75, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015.
She was member of Fern Creek High School Class of 1958 and went on to graduate from Belleville College with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She retired from KinderCare in Illinois where she was a Lead Teacher for 2 year olds for 27 years. She attended Newburg Christian Church.
Joyce was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille (Breeden) Aubrey; and brother, Steve Aubrey.
She is survived by her children, Keith Lewis, Donna Goodlett-Collins (Danny) and Pam Hale; grandchildren, Haley and Taylor Goodlett, Angel Lewis, and PJ and Jessica Hale; great grandchildren, Cody, Sahara, and Addi Stump; brothers, Mike Geary (Jean) and Ted Aubrey (Mary); sister, Beverly Miles (Joe); and many nieces and nephews.
Her service will be 2pm Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road, with cremation to follow. Visitation will be 2-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
