FALL RIVER - Edward R. Almeida, Jr. Age 31, of 199 Hope St., Fall River died Tuesday December 28th at Charlton Memorial Hospital.He was the husband of Jennifer L. (Dias) Almeida.He is survived by one son: Brad Almeida of Fall River, one sister: Michelle Cateon of Fall River, one niece and one nephew, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was also brother of the late Tracy Ann Almeida.
He was born in Fall River, the son of Edward R. Almeida, Sr. and Pauline (Berube) Almeida. He was a life long Fall River resident. He was a volunteer Communications Officer for the Swansea Emergency Mgmt. He was a Marine Corp Cadet Instructor aboard the USS Massachusetts. He was an avid Nascar race fan, especially a Dale Earnhardt fan.He was a member of the former SS Peter and Paul Church, now Holy Cross Church of SS Peter and Paul Parish.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St., Fall River, Ma. on Monday January 3, 2004 at 8:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in Holy Cross Church of SS Peter and Paul Parish, Pulaski St., Fall River, Ma. at 9:00 AM
Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery,Stafford Rd. Fall River, Ma.
