Harriet G. Wennerberg, 100, of Portsmouth, NH died Thursday February 12, 2015 in the Edgewood Center, Portsmouth. Mrs. Wennerberg was born in Derry, NH on September 10, 1914 a daughter of the late George and Marion (Palmer) Devine. She was a lifelong resident of Derry, having worked for many years at Klev-Bro Shoe and Chelmsford Shoe Co. in Derry.
She is survived by her daughter, Arlene M. (Ivon) Esterline of Greenland, NH, five grandchildren, Richard Mullikin, Don Mullikin, Corinne Muder, Arlene Mullikin and Kim Mullikin, several great-grandchildren, four great great-grandchildren, her sister, Grace Rouillard of Pennsylvania, and also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Wennerberg in 1993.
A calling hour was held on Friday February 20, 2015 from 1 - 2pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A funeral service followed at 2:00pm in the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry.
