Obituary

Edward W. Nyhan, 66, of Manchester died on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Brigham & Woman’s Hospital in Boston after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Born in Concord, NH on February 8, 1949, he was the son of Joseph and Marjorie (Watkins) Nyhan. A graduate of Bishop Brady High School in Concord, he attended Keene State College and served in the US Coast Guard.
Prior to retirement, he had worked as a postal clerk for the US Postal Service for 31 years. Upon retirement, he worked delivering Meals On Wheels for St. Joseph Community Services and was a school crossing guard for the City of Manchester.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather whose greatest love was being a Grandpa to Stella and Callen.
Family members include his wife of 43 years, Linda (Boisvert) Nyhan of Manchester; two sons, Jeffrey Nyhan and his wife Katelyn (Costello) of Weare, Jonathan Nyhan of Manchester; two beloved grandchildren, Stella and Callen.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 14, 2015 in the chapel at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, Manchester.
