Ronald Jonathan Lloyd, 66, husband of 41 years to Iris Ann Lloyd, entered into rest on Monday, February 9, 2015.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 13, 2015 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. Rev. Nathan Dean will be officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Grovetown, GA.
Ronnie was born in Augusta, GA and was a member of Bethlehem Advent Christian Church. He was a dedicated and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his daughter; Ronda Lloyd Masters (Ron) of Evans, GA, son; Don Lloyd (Erica) of Hamilton, GA, four grandchildren; Morgan Masters, Ella Claire, Collman, and Charlton Lloyd, three sisters; Stephanie Lloyd of Augusta, GA, Anne Inglett (Jim) of Augusta, GA, Kathy McClellan (Larry) of Jackson, SC, special cousin; Jane Jordan (Richard) of Augusta, GA father-in-law; Don Tunnell of Augusta, GA, sister-in-law; Donnette Gustafson (Mike) of North Augusta, SC. Ronnie also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and his beloved neighbors and friends.
Pallbearers will be his nephews, Johnathan Anderson, Scotty Crawford, Shawn Johnson, Vaughn McClellan, and Anthony Barton.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
