Myra Grace "Sue" Arnold, 84, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015. A graveside service will be held for Mrs. Arnold at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 2015, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where Mrs. Arnold will be laid to rest. Rev. Phil Rogers will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 10, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Moore's Funeral Home in Milledgeville
Mrs. Arnold was a native of Tifton, but lived in Midway for many years and had made her home in Milledgeville for the past six years. She and her husband owned and operated several hotels in Saint Augustine, Florida and Tifton. Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by her parents, Shephard Ellis and Bertha Clifton Brewer; her husband, Harrell Arnold; and her daughter, Sandra Faye Arnold. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Milledgeville. She loved to sew and was an avid fisherman.
Mrs. Arnold is survived by her son, Tommy Arnold and wife, Lisa of Milledgeville; four grandchildren, Dr. Stephen Langston and wife, Dr. Heather Langston of Milledgeville, Krysta Martin and husband, Eric of Moreland, Kentucky, Stacy Harris and husband, Matt of McIntyre and Drew Arnold of Milledgeville; a sister, Betty Moncus of Jesup; five great-grandchildren, Wyatt Langston, Rhett Harris, Luke Harris, Spencer Martin and Avery Martin.
