David Hathaway, 49, of Plymouth, died on January 30th at Beth Israel in Boston. Beloved son of the late Roger and Martha (Nickerson) Hathaway, he is survived by his beloved wife Dawn (Croken) Hathaway of Plymouth, his daughter Meghan Hathaway and her fiancé Eric Tobin and Brian Hathaway and his fiancé Casey Kilcup and his grandchildren Alida, Kaelynne, Joslyn, Kyle, Addison, Sydney and the late Brison all of Taunton. He also leaves his sister Stacey Smith of Plymouth, his niece Cara Smith, nephews Tyler Croken and Eric Smith and great niece Kiley Brown.
David was born and raised in Plymouth. He worked many years for Ford, first as an auto technician then a parts associate. He enjoyed his Harley, fishing and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 10th at Chiltonville Congregational Church at 2 PM followed by a remembrance gathering at the Plymouth Elks Lodge. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations in his memory be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St, New York, NY 10016.
