On February 8, 2015 John Levas devoted son of Eftychia and the late Constantine Levas and beloved brother of Alex Levas. Loving grandson of the late Mathildi Zografos. Dear nephew of Athena Thompson and also survived by many other loving uncles, aunts and cousins.
Friends may call at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2504 Cub Hill Road, Parkville, MD 21234, on Wednesday, February 11th, from 10 to 11 A.M., at which time all are invited for the Funeral Mass. Interment in St. Demetrios Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests that donations be made in his memory to Francis X. John was a man with many interest, which include spelling time with housemates, working, listening to music, and going to different events in the community. John has been with Gallagher Services for over 30 years, and enjoyed living with his housemates on McCormick Street in Harford County. He had a great appreciation for the people he lives with. He loved the staff at the house, and enjoyed doing his chores around the house and especially helping getting the lunch boxes ready during the week.
He also enjoyed attending the Day program at the Gribbin Center in Perry Hall and John was a music lover, his favorite CD’s were The Back Street Boys, Lauren Hill and Usher. John liked to dance too, and danced the night away at Mountain Christian Church “Joy Prom” that he attended with some friends from John Carroll, he had said that he had a great time shaking “his groove thing”!
John will be missed by his many friends and staff at Gallagher Services and his loving family.
