Rita A. (Sabaj) Kubik, 85, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 at home with her much loved caregivers and kitties “Gypsy” and “Charlie” at her side.
Rita was the wife of the late Adam M. Kubik, she was also predeceased by her daughter Susan.
She leaves her 2 sisters, Dorothy Szymczak and Helen Kralik , also a brother, Frank Sabaj and several nieces and nephews.
She was born in Webster a daughter of the late Felix and Veronica (Mrzyglod) Sabaj.
Rita graduated from Bartlett High School and attended Nichols College. She retired from the former Webster Spring Co. (now Leggett & Platt Co.) in Oxford.
Mrs. Kubik was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, she enjoyed watching sports, dining out, and spending time with her friends and cats.
Sincere appreciation is extended to Holy Trinity Hospice, Rita’s nurses and caregivers for their compassionate care.
Rita’s Funeral will be Wednesday, February 11, 2015 with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Rd. burial will follow in St. Anthony’s Cemetery next to her husband Adam.
A Calling Hour will be Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM prior to the Funeral Mass at THE ROBERT J. MILLER FUNERAL HOME and LAKE CHAPEL, 366 School St., Webster.
