Catherine M. (Piraino) Gallerani of Plymouth passed away on February 5, 2015 at Life Care Center of Plymouth. Catherine was born in Rodia (Messina), Sicily in 1921 to the late Joseph and Angelina (Pizzolo) Piraino. She was the wife of 62 years to William Gallerani, who died in 2007 and loving mother of the late Marie (Gallerani) Reid of Plymouth and Michael Gallerani of Norwood. Besides her son she leaves two grandsons, Anthony Gallerani of Norwood and Matthew Gallerani of Plymouth, her brother James "Chuck" Piraino of Quincy and many nieces and nephews.
Catherine came to America as a young child and grew-up in Roxbury, MA. She graduated from the Boston High School of Practical Arts and moved to Plymouth
when she married William after his return from WWII.
For many years Catherine worked at A.L/ Ellis Curtains of Plymouth.
Catherine loved her family, a good(And maybe not so good) Book, Cooking - especially for her grandsons, sewing, parades, music, time spent with her friends, and family gatherings. She was the original "P Sister"

A funeral Mass will be held at the Church of St Peter Court St. Plymouth MA on Thursday February 12, at 10 AM. There are no visiting hours and burial will be Private
