Helen M. Tomberlin, 73, of Mystic, Georgia, died Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at Irwin County Hospital in Ocilla.
Memorial services will be held 3 PM, Saturday, February 7, 2015, at Mystic Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim McDuffie officiating. The family will receive friends in the social hall of the church beginning at 2 PM on Saturday.
Mrs. Tomberlin was born August 12, 1941, in Lebon, Indiana, to the late James & Gleda Bridwell Buher. A 1958 graduate of Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was a retired secretary with Eye Clinic in Indianapolis. Mrs. Tomberlin was a homemaker and moved to Mystic in 2006 from Bedford, Indiana. She loved playing on the computer and going out to eat. She really enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters. She was a member of Mystic Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, John T. Tomberlin of Mystic; her son, James Reddick of Bedford, Indiana; and her two granddaughters: Emily & Dustin Hardesty and Erica Reddick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers.
