Jean "Mimi" K. (McCracken) Watt, age 77, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2015, at her home in Pembroke.
Born in Greenock, Scotland in 1937, Mimi was a child survivor of The Blitz in World War II. She married her first husband, Duncan Watt, in 1956 and they immigrated to the United States with their three children in 1968. Duncan passed away in 1975.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Watt & wife Sandra, Colin Watt & wife Amy, and her daughter, Allison Caputo & husband Robert Udulutch.
As the world's best and beloved grandmother, Mimi's pride and joy were her seven grandchildren, Chelsea Watt, Duncan Watt, Morgan Watt, Nikki Caputo, Lindsay Caputo, Angus Watt and Callum Watt.
In 1980, Mimi married her second husband, Mervyn Cook, and is survived by Merv and his three sons, Steve Cook & wife Carol, Richard Cook, Paul Cook and son-in-law, John Mucko.
She is also survived by her sister, Elizabeth Stirling & husband David who still reside in Greenock. She is also survived by her dearly loved nieces, Diane Medinelli and Fiona Dollard of Gourock, Scotland, as well as an extended group of family and friends spread around the globe.
Please join the family for visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett Street, (Route 14), Pembroke, on Saturday, February 7, 2015, from 1:00-3:00 PM, with a memorial service at 3:00 PM.
Interment services will be private.
