Carolyn (Collins) Vilk, of Franklin, MA, formerly of New Port Richey, FL and Cherry Hill, NJ, died February 2nd, 2015 at the age of 86 following a long illness.
Daughter of the late Virgil D. Collins and Myra (Knowles) Collins.
Born in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, Carolyn was raised in Congers, NY. Beloved wife of the late George C. Vilk for 54 years; Loving mother of Michelle McMichael of Cherry Hill, NJ and Kathleen Esrich and her husband William of Medway, MA; Sister of the late Shirley C. Williams; Sister-in-law of Rose Wagner of Yorba Linda, CA; Proud grandmother of William, Kaitlin and Shannon Esrich. Also survived by dear cousins and many loving friends.
Carolyn loved classical music and opera, history and genealogy, reading and antiques.
Private funeral services will be held at a later date under the direction of Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
Instead of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Red Cross.
