Attaway Jr. and his wife Ann of Walpole and Barbara Lynn Carney of Taunton. Loving grandfather of Christina Attaway of Walpole, and George and Joe Carney both of Taunton. Son of the late John B. and Anne (Millwood) Attaway. Brother of the late Geddes Attaway and Louise Eubank.
Late Korean War Veteran, U.S. Navy. Served on the USS Worcester, CL 144, Gunner’s Mate 1st Class. Member of the Dedham VFW, Jacob Jones Post 2017 and the Dedham American Legion, Post 18. Retired supervisor at the VA Hospital, West Roxbury.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Friday, Feb. 6 at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anne Church, Readville at 9am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting Hours Thursday, Feb. 5 from 4-8pm. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
