Obituary

Richard A. Hull of Wareham, formerly of Halifax, passed away Sunday February 1st after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Mary Hull, who he was married to for 48 years. He is also survived by his two sons, Richard W. Hull and his wife Linda, of Hingham and Edward Hull and his wife Jeanette, of Plymouth. In addition, Papous leaves behind his loving grandchildren Elizabeth, Connor, Justin, Owen and Mia.Richard was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Daisy (Lamb) Hull, and his siblings Jean, Dorothy, and Stanley.He is survived by his sisters Eleanor Hurst and Carol Lockwood and his brother Kneeland Hull as well as many nieces and nephews. Richard worked for many years for the towns of Pembroke and Halifax highway departments. Richard was a Life Member of Kiwanis and devoted many years to helping those in need especially children impacted by trauma. Richard also served in the Army. During his retirement Richard enjoyed the beach house, boating, photography and traveling as well as spending many wonderful hours with his family and friends. Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home 116 Main St (Rt58) Carver on Saturday, February 7, from 1:00 to 5:00PM.
