Alice Daigle entered into God's Eternal Home on February 1, 2015. She died peacefully at home surrounded by love. She was cherished not only by her family but also by her caretaker Ana Padelford who faithfully and so lovingly cared for her every day.
Alice , age 90, is now joyfully reunited with her husband Henry.
Survived by 5 children, Pauline Martin, Joyce Davidopoulos, Gerald, Peter, and Henry Daigle and his wife Karen, 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Alice is also survived by 2 sisters, Sarah Marshall and Rose St. Don, and several nieces and nephews.
Alice was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and servant of God. She lived an exemplary life of unselfishly caring for and loving not only her immediate family but others who then became her extended family. She will be forever loved and truly missed.
Her Funeral will be held on Thursday, February 5th at 9 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by her Funeral Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 10 AM. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, February 4th from 4-7 PM.
