Daniel Doyle, 63, of Litchfield, NH passed away Thursday January 29, 2015 at the Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua, NH surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Dan was an active member of the Litchfield Community Presbyterian Church where he was a Deacon. He was also a Mason in good standing at the Rising Sun Lodge in Nashua. Dan truly enjoyed his hunting and fishing trips with friends, going out on the boat with his family, and walking his beloved dog Jimmy. We will always remember his kindness, generosity, gentle nature and love of life. Despite his later ill health he always thought of others and maintained his great sense of humor. Dan could always bring a smile to your face or doubled over with a good laugh.
Dan had many friends, the dearest amongst them Liz and Bob McGilvary, Sam and Peter Levesque, Barbara Alves and many other true friends and wonderful neighbors. Dan leaves behind his wife of 44 years Julie Doyle of Litchfield, and his daughter Leah Doyle of Londonderry. He also leaves his sister in law Jayne Oldfield ,her partner Steve and nephew Liam all whom reside in England. His brother in-law Ray Oldfield and wife Chrys also of England, as well as many aunts,uncles and cousins both here and abroad.
Dan will be remembered most for his amazing sense of humor, his kindness and his abiding love for his family. He was truly a great man who left us too soon but will remain always in our hearts.
Calling hours were held on Thursday February 5th from 6 to 8 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH. A Masonic ritual will begin at 7:30. A memorial celebration of Dan's life will be held Friday February 6th 11 am at the Litchfield Community Church.
