Howard B. Wood, 81 of Plymouth died on January 29th. Devoted husband for 55 years of Gail (Cobb) Wood, proud father of Jenifer Juliani and son-in-law Joe, Deborah Joyce and son-in-law Patrick and Christine Wood. Loving grandfather "Grumpie" of Alyssa (Juliani) Borey and her husband Adam, Rachele (Juliani) McGinnity and her husband Garrett and great-grandfather of Jolee, Abigail, Mia and Owen. Brother of Sandra Holman and the late Carolyn Webber. He was the son of Howard M. and Alberta (Carr) Wood. He graduated from Plymouth High School class of 1952, served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was the owner of a landscaping and paving business for several years before retiring from Plymouth Airport where he worked as Line Supervisor. After retirement he drove trucks for Balboni Landscape. Howard loved spending time with his family, growing vegetables in his garden, chopping firewood and restoring old Volkswagens. A memorial service will be held at Chiltonville Congregational Church on Saturday, February 7th at 11am.
