Bobby Randle Turner, 69, of Tifton died Sunday, February 1, 2015, at his residence. His funeral service will be at 11:00 a..m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Rev. Dillard Ensley officiating. Mr. Turner will be laid to rest at Union Grove Church of God Cemetery in Eldorado. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Randy Turner, Darryl Moore, Steve Farmer, Joe Ellis, Little Gary Turner and Donald Turner will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Buck Moore and Broc Moore.
Mr. Turner was born on January 2, 1946 in Old Davis Town, Alabama and was the son of Grady Della Turner and Essie Mae Angle Turner, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Wallace Turner, Charles Turner, Douglas Turner and Bud Turner; and one sister, Ella Jane Duren. He was a farmer and a member of Reedy Creek Baptist Church. He loved dirt track racing and NASCAR.
Mr. Turner is survived by three brothers, Fred Albert Turner of Anniston, Alabama, Rob Turner of Fitzgerald and James Turner of Heflin, Alabama.
