Obituary

Anita Y. (Leblanc) Lanoie, 95, of Manchester, died peacefully in the arms of her loving daughter on January 30, 2015.

She was born in Canada on February 2, 1919 to Louis and Alida (Fauteux) Leblanc and had resided in Manchester for most of her life.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. One of her greatest joys was baby Jacob Matthew, her newest great grandson.
Family was central to her life. We will always remember the family gatherings and birthdays that she hosted.
She had a great spirit of adventure and enjoyed traveling. She relocated to California and later Florida with her husband and children, but returned home to New England.
She loved the ocean and the New England water was never too cold for her. She also loved animals, and she was especially fond of our golden retriever, Jesse.
Anita enjoyed playing the organ and was an accomplished seamstress. She was an avid cribbage player taking great joy in weekly games with her sister and brother-in-law.
Family members include her daughter, Dr. Nancy Labore and her husband, Raymond, of Goffstown, NH; a son, Gary Lanoie and his wife, Cindy, of Tewksbury MA; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a sister, Doris Abbot of Deland Fl. She was married 61 years to Lucien A. Lanoie who died in 2006.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Thursday, February 5, 2015 in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Belmont St., Manchester. Encryptment followed in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum.
