Obituary

ROHRBAUGH - Neal Leroy Rohrbaugh, Sr., 80, passed away Thursday evening, January 29, 2015 at his Yulee, FL residence. He was born January 20, 1935 in Madison, OH and travelled the world before settling in Florida in 1987.
Mr. Rohrbaugh was of the Bahai faith. He was a retired Senior Master Chief with the U. S. Navy proudly serving in the Korean War and the Vietnam Era. He loved being in the Navy and traveling, visiting over 50 countries and islands in his lifetime. He was a great storyteller and a man of words who enjoyed a good turn of phrase. He was a devoted father with a kind soul, a warm heart, and great sense of humor.
Mr. Rohrbaugh was predeceased by a daughter, Darniece Epperson, and by two grandchildren, Andrea Savage and Douglas Savage.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Irma Rohrbaugh; their children Nathcelly Leroy Rohrbaugh and Paloma Rohrbaugh (Jay Paroline); and his children Terressa "Terri" Rohrbaugh Murton, Charmaine Rohrbaugh Dye, Neal "T.J." Rohrbaugh, Jr., Taimeko Starr and James Rohrbaugh; a brother, Richard Rohrbaugh; three sisters, Norma Sundberg, Dottie James and Kay Harper; 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
A graveside ceremony will be held at 1:30 Tuesday, February 3, at Jacksonville National Cemetery with full military honors presented by the U.S. Navy.
