Kitson, Robert A. of Hull December 25, 2004.

Son of the late Ralph Kitson and Doris L. Kitson. He is survived by his son, Robert Kitson, Jr. of Washington, daughter Cheryl J. Grey of Hull, and grandchildren Stacey, Greg, Tyler, and Dylan Grey. Long time companion of Earlene Walker of Weymouth.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Thursday at 10:30 AM.

Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 PM.

Cremation will follow.

Mr. Kitson died Saturday at Boston Medical Center after a brief illness. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was engaged in a variety of vocations, including machinist, bartender, cross country and local truck driver, and most recently was part owner of Delta Surfside Taxi Company in Hull. He was also a member of VFW Post 1399 and FOE AERIE 1899, both in Weymouth.

Born in Boston, he was a lifelong resident of Hull and a 1960 graduate of Hull High School.

A lover of the ocean and the beach, it was a rare sunny summer day that he could not be found swimming at Gunrock Beach or strolling Nantasket.
