Alex G. Nobrega of Taunton passed away on Thursday January 29, 2015 at Massachusetts General Hospital following a 3 week illness. Mr. Nobrega was 22 years old. He was the loving son of Liliana Nobrega of Taunton and the late Agostinho Nobrega and the cherished step-son of Antonio Chaves of Taunton. Alex was the cherished brother of Sofia Triolo and her husband Carmen of E. Taunton and his step sister Delia Aubin and her husband Robert, Jr. and their 3 children of Taunton. Mr. Nobrega is also survived by his 3 nephews; Joey, Tino and Leo. Alex will be forever loved and missed by his many relatives and dear friends.
Alex was born on August 9, 1992 in Taunton. He was a graduate of Bristol-Plymouth High School as a member of the class of 2010. Family was everything to Alex; he had special relationships with his loved ones especially his mother and his 3 nephews. He had a talent when it came to cars and he loved to travel and go fishing with his friends. Alex’s quiet, sweet and gentle soul will be loved and forever missed by all who knew him.
Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday February 5th from 5-8pm at Taunton Funeral Home 8 Crapo St. (off Tremont St./Rte. 140) Taunton. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday February 6th at 10am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church 126 School St. Taunton (all are asked to go directly to church).
