Roland J. Robitaille Jr., age 60 of Assonet, passed away on Jan. 29, 2015. He was the longtime companion of Maria Boyer, former husband of Joyce “Tina” (Andrew) Robitaille, and the son of the late Roland J. and Elsie (DeSilvia) Robitaille Sr. Roland had worked for Duro Industries and Pioneer Finishing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and a past member of the New Bedford Rod & Gun Club.
He is also survived by his 2 Daughters: Wendy L. Edge and Hope M. Robitaille both of Fall River; a step-son: Derek A. Boyer of Fall River; 4 Grandchildren: Cory, Michael, Peyton, & Logan; his Siblings: Cindy Abarca, Debra Roberts, & Ronald Robitaille all of Fall River; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Baby Robitaille, Richard, Michael, & Linda Robitaille.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015 from 2-5 P.M. with a service at 4:30 P.M. in the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River, MA. www.rogersfuneral.com.
