James Michael "Jimmy" Hourihan, 69, of Plaistow, New Hampshire passed away on Thursday, January 29th, 2015 surrounded by his loving family at his home.
He was born on April 25th, 1945 in Methuen to the late Daniel and Catherine (Sullivan) Hourihan. Jimmy was educated in the local schools. He worked as a Supervisor for Vernon Plastics Company in Haverhill, Massachusetts and then in Job Placement for Tac Industries and later as a Machinist for Sarro Manufacturing.
According to his family he enjoyed working on his cars, especially his corvette, building things; such as boats and decoys. He could fix anything and he had every new tool ever invented, of which he was meticulous about. He definitely had a green thumb and loved to garden. Jimmy had a talent at the target range and loved his guns.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to call on Thursday, February 5th, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, Massachusetts.
His funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 6th, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Corpus Christi Parish, Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence, MA. Entombment will follow in the St. Mary's/Immaculate Conception Mausoleum in Lawrence, MA.
