Eunice Mae (Morrison) Kane, 90, of Anderson died peacefully at her residence January 9, 2015.
She was born, August 16, 1924 in Grand Junction, Colorado to Joel G. and Clara M. (Heath) Morrison.
She attended Anderson College and was a lifelong Early Childhood Educator. Through the years she was active as a Charter Teacher at Park Place Church of God Children's Center, co-owner of Storybook Nursery School, and ChildSpace at the YWCA. She was active with Women's Alternatives in Anderson, and co-founder of Tree House Playgroup. She served on several boards for the Church of God Christian Education, EC boards at Ball State and Ivy Tech. She was a charter member of Jo March Club and attended Park Place Church of God.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, John S. Kane; sons, Mark S. (Sally) Kane of Newaygo, MI; Gordon E. Kane of Anderson; daughter, Constance (Barry) Kane-Granger of Carmel; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at11 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Park Place Church of God 501 College Drive; Anderson, IN with Dr. David Markle officiating.
Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, February 6 from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday, 1 hour prior to the service in the Bessie Byrum Lounge at Park Place Church of God.
Memorial contributions may be given to Park Place Church of God Children's Center.
