Marie F. DiMare, 71, of Londonderry, NH passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous 6 year battle with cancer. She was born on August 27, 1943 in Lowell, MA, a daughter of Blanche (Proulx) Jussaume and the late Henry Jussaume. Marie was a graduate of Lowell Trade School. She was the evening manager at Purity Supreme prior to her retirement. Marie enjoyed many summers spent at their home in Scituate, MA. She loved her family, especially caring for her grandchildren. Marie and her husband were active members of St. Mark’s Church in Londonderry.
In addition to her mother of Dracut, MA, she is also survived by her loving husband of 30 years, James DiMare of Londonderry, three sons, Jeffrey Tarmey and wife Christina of Hudson, NH, Brian Tarmey and fiancé Amy Demers of Salem, NH, and Kevin Tarmey of Pelham, NH; three grandchildren, Brittany Ardizzoni, Justin Tarmey and Skylar Tarmey; one great granddaughter, Kadence Tarmey, two sisters, Janet Gaunt and husband Bernard of Dracut, MA, and Suzanne Kuszek and husband Michael of Tewksbury, MA; four brothers, Henry Jussaume and wife Laurette of Brookline, NH, Roland Jussaume of Lowell, MA, Donald Jussaume of Dracut, MA, and Armand Jussaume and wife Betty of Dracut, MA; two sisters-in-law, Lorraine Morss and Sr. Lorraine Marie, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters-in-law, Jeannette and Carol Jussaume.
Calling hours will be Monday, February 2, 2015 from 4 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 3rd at 10:30am in St. Mark’s Church, corner of South and Mammoth Roads, Londonderry. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Gilcreast Rd, Londonderry.
