WORCESTER-Garry W. Wise, 54, of Worcester passed away at home, surrounded by family on Wednesday, January 28.
He leaves his wife of 33 years, Diane E. (Collins) Wise; two sons, Chad Michael and his wife, Joyclyn (Gretty) Wise and Jarad Matthew Wise all of Tacoma, WA; two daughters, Brittni E. Wise and Briana K. Wise both of Worcester; two grandchildren, Brett Michael and Liam Patrick Wise both of Tacoma, WA; two sisters, Doreen (Wise) Sharp of Dudley and Patti (Wise) and her husband, Marty Henry of Rutland; a brother in law, Stephan Giza of Paxton; his mother in law, Elizabeth (Gelinas) Collins; four brothers in law, George J. Collins and his partner, Traci Fearing, Larry M. Collins and Sandra (Kobel) Collins, Thomas M. Collins and Wade K. Collins; eleven nieces and nephews; twelve grand nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Two sisters, Debbi (Wise) Giza and Karen Wise predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Harry M. and Sandra A. (Ames) Wise and graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School class of 78’.
Garry was a jobsite and shop foreman for various sheet metal companies in the Worcester area, retiring from the former Worcester County Refrigeration Co. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Alhambra Council #88. Garry’s most treasured times were conversations he would have with each of his children.
Visiting Hours are Thursday, February 5 from 4:00 to 6:00pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00pm in CALLAHAN FAY AND CASWELL FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to,Why Me Inc., 1152 Pleasant Street, Worcester, 01602.
