Rick Waldron, 56, of Chesterfield passed away January 24, 2015 at his home after a brief illness.
Rick was born December 16, 1958, to Richard and Hilda Waldron in Anderson.
He managed Skyview Apartments with his family for many years.
Rick was a town councilman and served on several different local committees.
Rick was a very generous soul who was a passionate family man. He was always willing to lend a helping hand; "no" just wasn’t a part of his vocabulary.
Rick met the love of his life, Lisa Waldron (Fowler), in 2008 and they were wed October 22, 2009. They enjoyed spending their time together on the water, whether it be Lake Shaeffer or the ocean.
He is survived by his wife Lisa, his daughters Aleigha and Alexis Waldron, Lisa's children, Zach (Adam), Gabe (Angel), Braniken (Donnie), and Dalton, his parents, Richard and Hilda Waldron, his brother, Barry (Sally) Waldron, his beloved dog, Gus, and many others who viewed Rick as a father figure.
Rick was preceded in death by his brother Kent Waldron.
"Captain Rico" will be missed by all who loved him.
Services will be held 1 P.M. on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Michael Deutch officiating
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday, January 28, 2015.
