George G. Knepple, 79, of Hampton, NH died January 24, 2015 at his residence after a period of declining health.
Born in Chicago, IL on April 29, 1935, he was the son of George G. and Evelyn (Bendl) Knepple Sr. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Luther College in Decorah, IO.
George had worked for Simonds Saw & Steel Company in Fitchburg, MA for many years prior to retiring as the firm’s marketing manager.
He enjoyed playing golf and was a longtime member of the Manchester Country Club. He also enjoyed spending many winters with his wife at their home in Ft. Myers, FL.
Family members include his wife of 47 years, Mary Lou (Callahan) Knepple of Hampton; his daughter, Lori Tate of Edina, MN; grandson, Cody Tate of Edina, MN; his sister, Geraldine Coha and husband Thomas of Mesa, AZ; a sister-in-law, Cornelia Callahan of Brookline, MA; several nephews and a niece.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 in the chapel of Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, Manchester. Urn burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
