Gertrude “Jini” (Rylander) Kelly, 89, a long-time resident of Winchester, passed away on January 23, 2015 at Sunrise Senior Living in Lynnfield. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Carl P. and Mary D. (McManus) Rylander. Jini worked as an administrative assistant for many years at Tufts University. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, movies, music and traveling to Florida. She was the loving mother of Robert E. Kelly, Jr. of Maine, Karen O’Connor of Dudley and Kristen Kelly of Los Angeles, CA, and the late Steven A. Kelly. Jini was the sister of the late Dorothy Gray, and the devoted grandmother of Lauren and Ryan O’Connor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 155 Washington St., Winchester, on Friday, January 30th at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
