STOUGHTON… Rose (Gluchacki) Peixe, 79, of Westport passed away Thursday, January 22nd at New England Sinai Medical Center in Stoughton.
She was the widow of Manuel G. Peixe.
Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Kataryna) Gluchacki.
Mrs. Peixe enjoyed shopping, crocheting, celebrating holidays with her children, talking with friends and caring for her pets. She had recently welcomed her first grandchild.
Survivors include 2 sons: Manuel Peixe, Jr. & Charles J. Peixe, both of Westport, a daughter: Carol A. Peixe of Westport, her granddaughter: McKenna Peixe Hebert, a brother: Joseph Gluchacki of Fall River, 2 sisters: Mary Gluchacki of New Bedford & Bernice Ostapow of Fall River, several nieces and nephews. She was mother of the late Steven Peixe and sister of the late Anne Shephard, Albert Gluchacki, John Gluchacki and Helen Gluchacki.
Funeral Mass to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday at 9:30 AM at Holy Cross Chapel, Pulaski St, Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Arrangements are entrusted to BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 709 Broadway Fall River.
