Harold Peter Ruckriegel, 91, of Jeffersontown passed away January 22, 2015 at Baptist Health.
He was a concrete contractor, an Army veteran of WWII, a member of St. Edward Catholic Church, VFW 1170, G.I. Joe Post 244 and St. Vincent dePaul Society.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years the former Theresa Jakoby; children, Janet Lindsey (Terry) and Wayne Ruckriegel (Rexanne); Grandchildren, Karen Olsen, Rachel Meiman, Jennifer Wilt, Beth McBride and Andrew Ruckriegel and 11 Great-Grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, 10 am at St. Edward Catholic Church, 9608 Sue Helen Drive.
Visitation will be 2-8 pm, Sunday at Owen Funeral Home - Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd. Burial Jeffersontown Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Vincent dePaul Society.
