Lee A. Tucker, 89, of Mystic, Georgia, died Friday, December 24, 2004, at the Irwin County Hospital in Ocilla, Georgia.
Funeral services will be 3 P.M. Monday, December 27, 2004, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla with Rev. L.A. Pate and Dr. Lloyd Stembridge officiating. Interment will follow in Mystic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 P.M. Sunday.
Mr. Tucker was born March 2, 1915, in Coffee County, Georgia, to the late Crawford Monroe Tucker and Martha Hutchinson Tucker. A lifelong resident of Irwin and Ben Hill Counties, Mr. Tucker was a retired farmer and former logger. He was a member of Arbor Baptist Church in Fitzgerald and the Georgia Farm Bureau.
Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife: Nora S. Tucker, Mystic; four daughters: Juanita Woods, Tifton, GA; Annie Faye Tunali, Atlanta, GA; Nora J. Cox, Fitzgerald; Rachel Dianne Brown, Fitzgerald; four sons: Rev. Roger L. Tucker, Mystic; Stanley Tucker, Mystic; Billy Ray Tucker, Warner Robins, GA; James Tucker, Mystic; one brother: C.L. Tucker, Waycross, GA; 25 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Three sons, one great grandchild, two sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.
