Lillian B. Walsh
Retired Medical Secretary

TEWKSBURY: Lillian B. (McCauley) Walsh, age 75, a resident of Tewksbury for the past 50 years, passed away at home, with her family by her side, following a long and courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday, January 20, 2015.
She was the beloved wife of John P. "Jack" Walsh, with whom she would have celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on April 28th.
Born in Somerville on June 10, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lillian (Bamberg) McCauley.
Lillian was raised in Somerville and graduated from St. Clements High School.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a Medical Secretary at Women's Health.
She enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her husband, daughters and especially her grandchildren. Lillian loved attending her grandsons' sporting events and her granddaughter's dance and cheering activities.
Her proudest moment was celebrating her 50th wedding anniversary with the love of her life, "Jack".
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Karen Hayward and her husband Michael of Litchfield, NH, Bernadette Villalpando and her husband William and Erin Asselin and her husband Peter all of Tewksbury; six grandchildren, Jonathan and Abigayle Villalpando, Joshua and Jennifer Asselin, and Adam and Julia Hayward; one brother, Robert McCauley of Dunstable; also many nieces and nephews.
Lillian was the grandmother of the late Kathryn Villalpando.

Calling hours are Sunday, Jan. 25, from 2-6 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Her funeral will be held Monday, Jan. 26, at 9 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. William's Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
