Marilyn J. Anufrom, 61

Dateline: Norton, MA

Marilyn J. (Willette) Anufrom, age 61, of Norton, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.
Born in Norwood, MA on June 14, 1953, she was a loving daughter of Mary (Lydon) Lodico of Mansfield and the late Robert Willette.
Marilyn grew up in Sharon and was a graduate of Sharon High School. She later graduated from the former Pondville Hospital School of Nursing, and for over 20 years had worked as an LPN at the Wrentham Developmental Center.
Marilyn had made her home in Norton for the past 30 years and was an active member of the Lighthouse Christian Church in North Smithfield, RI.
Her happiest times spent were those with her adoring family; especially with her grandchildren. She loved gardening; her favorite flower being peonies, feeding and watching the birds that frequented her yard, and walking the beautiful beaches of New England accompanied by her son.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her devoted children: Jeremiah J. Anufrom of Warwick, RI and Rebecca A. Naranjo and her husband Anthony of Mission Hill. She was the dear sister of Bobby Willette and his wife Pepper of Randolph, Dickie Willette of Ashland, Jerry Willette and his wife Alisa of Mansfield, Brian Willette and his wife Karen of Bostic, NC and Lenny Willette and his wife Andrea of Shirley. She was the proud grandmother of Orion Naranjo. She is also survived by her best friend Catherine Brousseau of Norton and Catherine’s grandchildren: Wills Rickett, Christopher Rickett, Ava Brousseau and Dan Melvin, many nieces and nephews and her cherished pets “Abby” and “Grace”.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a service in celebration of her life to be held at the Lighthouse Christian Church, 322 Eddie Dowling Highway, North Smithfield, RI on Saturday, January 31st at 3:00 P.M. Burial will be private.
Visiting hours have been omitted and in place of flowers, those wishing may remember Marilyn with a donation in her memory to the Lighthouse Community Food Pantry, 30 Meeting St., Cumberland, RI 02864.
