BRIDWELL, Thomas C., 84, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015.
The previous owner of Bridwell Construction, he was a man of many talents, who loved his family, working and traveling.
Tommy was preceded in death by his son, Robert David Bridwell; parents, Robert Bridwell and Anna Clay Distler; sister, Betsy Smith; and son-in-law, Mark Wimsatt.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Doris (Gootee) Bridwell; children, Terri Lee Wimsatt, Daniel Thomas Bridwell (Lisa), and Todd Alan Bridwell (Terri); grandchildren, Robert Bridwell, Jr., Wesley Bridwell, Jessica Green, Joshua Bridwell, and Christopher Wimsatt; 3 great grandchildren, Connor, Lacey, and Evelyn; brothers, James and Dr. John Distler; sisters, JoAnna Waddell and Joyce Farmer; and daughter-in-law, Jackie Bridwell.
His service will be 11am Saturday at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road, with burial to follow in Chenoweth Run Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8pm Friday at the funeral home.
