Leo W. Hetherington, age 59, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 in an accident.
Leo is survived by his loving companion of 7 years, Alice Grant of S. Weymouth, his children, Shane Hetherington of Winchester, Kelley Hetherington of CO and Ty Hetherington of TN and his granddaughter, Lily Hetherington. He also leaves his sisters, Elaine Willis of East Wareham, Carol Byrd of NC and Fran Reilly of Manchester, NH.
He was born and grew up in Randolph and graduated from Randolph High in 1973. Leo loved driving people with special needs with the VHS Bus Company and also for the Ride on the South Shore. He loved his work as a contract painter all over the South Shore and had the gift of gab, touching so many lives.
Visiting hours will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Saturday, January 24th from 1 to 4 PM, immediately followed by a memorial Service at 4 PM.
