LAWRENCE – Charles E. “Ed” Trussell, 68 of Lawrence, MA, passed away Monday January 19, 2015 after a brief illness.
Born and educated in Methuen, MA, he was the son of Theodore and Kathleen (Cavanaugh) Trussell and attended Tenney High School. Charles served in the U.S. Navy,he received the National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal and was honorably discharged from service. He was employed as a supervisor at Samina for many years.
Charles leaves his wife of 42 years, Carolyn A. (Belair) Trussell of Lawrence, MA. He is also survived his children, Christine R. Ota and her husband Glen of Andover, MA, Kelly A. Garon of Lowell, MA and Courtney L. Trussell of Haverhill, MA; one daughter-in-law, Courtney J. Morris also of Haverhill, MA. One sister and one brother, Patricia Caron of Salisbury, MA and William Trussell of Methuen, MA. Grandchildren, Derek, Lilyan, Jacob, Noah and Gracelyn. Several nieces and nephews.
Charles was the father of the late Mark Edward Trussell.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the New England Organ Bank 60 First Ave. Waltham, MA 02451. Visiting hours for family and friends will be Thursday from 6:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844.
