Obituary

SOMERSET - Kenneth A. Velozo, at the age of 70, Kenny entered into Eternal Rest to be reunited with his Maker and all of his loved ones that have gone before him.
He will forever be in the hearts of those left behind. He was the loving husband of Sherry (Alves) Velozo.
Kenny was born in Dighton, MA, the son of the late Jessie V. Velozo and Dorothy (Rogers) Velozo. He leaves behind his Daughter Candace Velozo and his 2 Grandsons, “His Boys” Brayden Velozo-Migliori and Camden Velozo-Migliori.
Always caring for his family and friends, he also loved and cared deeply for his “4 legged family” that’s left behind.
Kenny worked for General Motors for 32 years, retiring in 1999. He was passionate about his New England Sports Teams, especially the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He loved Collecting baseball cards and going to Camara’s Auction. He was a lifetime member of the Seaconnet Sportsman’s Club.
Surviving Siblings include his Sister Judith Ponte (husband Joe) of Somerset, Brother Gerald Velozo (wife Terry) of FL, and his Sister Helen Correia (husband Jim) of Swansea. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Msgr. Donald D. Velozo, Jessie V. Velozo Jr., and Robert Velozo.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River, MA on SATURDAY at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church, Brayton Ave. Somerset at 9:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
