Sabino T. Alvino of Dedham, formerly of Hyde Park, died Dec. 23, 2004 at the VA Medical Center in Brockton. He was 80. Mr. Alvino was born in Boston and was the son of the late Pasquale & Lillian (Impeduglia) Alvino. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the Army. Mr. Alvino was a resident of Hyde Park for twenty years and Dedham for sixty years. He owned and operated the Dedham Salvage Co. in Dedham and he was a member of the Dedham Moose Club.
He was the former husband of Lillian (Haggerty) Alvino. He was the father of Patrick T. Alvino of Parkman , ME, and John M. Alvino of Boston. He was the brother Florence LaCortiglia of Arcada, CA, and the late Catherine McMillen.
A funeral will be held from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Monday at 9 am. Funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham, at 10 am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Sunday from 4-8 pm. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
