Obituary

Alvin Frederick Heath, Captain USAF Retired, 91, of Harmony, RI died January 17, 2015. He was the husband of Edith (Gregorczyk) Heath. They were married in Buffalo, NY on August 9th 1944.

He was born in Pawtucket, RI, a son of the late Harold Earl and Sarah Allison (Laurie) Heath. He had attended school in East Providence, RI and University of Buffalo for the U.S. Army.

He was a WWII Army veteran. He had served as a U. S. Army lieutenant in Europe flying missions in C47s and post war in P47s. He had also served as an Air Force reservist. He worked for the A&P for 44 years retiring in 1986

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Edith and children: Charles Alvin Heath and his wife Patricia Rishe Heath of Mapleville, RI and Janet Lee Heath of Harmony, RI; Grandchildren Zachary Rishe Heath and his wife Janel Satterfield Heath of Bristol, RI and Gretchen Macauley Heath of Bristol, RI. He is also survived by two great-granddaughters Tierney and Ainsley, and his sister Victoria Drake of Lebanon, OR.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Highland Memorial Park in Johnston, R.I.
